My English Welcoming Days

Last Sunday and Monday on September 7th – 8th, I joined English Welcoming Day or EWD, a camping that was held to welcome the new English Language Education students in Wonogondang, Kaliurang.

On the early morning of September the 7th, all of the new English Language Education students and the committees gathered on the hall. After briefing and preparation, we went to Wonogondang at 14.30 by truck. It was fun when riding the truck. It reminded me to my junior high school camping five years ago. But it also made me imagining that I were a Indonesian labor who sent to Merapi to work there XD XD *wth -.-*

At 15.30, we arrived at Wonogondang, but suddenly I felt dizzy. Maybe the low air pressure influenced my low blood pressure and I thought this camping would be the worst camping I ever joined because I was not in a good condition.

Same as what I predicted, my condition was getting worst when the night came. Nevertheless, I forced myself to join the activities in my group, group six, with Hedwig as the group leader, Marrie, Nimas, Tika, Lia, Brian, Frankie, and Purwo as my group mates. But, thanks God, Yosi gave me tolak angin and vitamin c, so I felt better than before.

One by one, I passed the activities until 24.00, did some jingles, yell, and talent show. God, I was very tired and I needed to sleep... But, I only had a little time to sleep because at 1.00 I should join TRACKING!! Jesus, I really wanted to return home at that time TT^TT

Finally, I joined the tracking... At 3.00 in the morning, walked crossing the forest... OMG, I thought it would be scary, but I was wrong. Even it was tiring, I had a lot of fun with my group^^ and we *me and my group* finished the tracking at 6.00. It meant, I hadn't have any time to sleep at all ~_~

But, the funniest activity was OUTBOND on the second day!!! We played some games there!! Like Berlin wall *climbed a high dirty wall*, titanic, fill the pipe, ride an enggrang, etc. We played with too much water, our dressed were soaked, and of course it was cold >.< rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

In the evening, the English Welcoming Days was over. We returned to the campus by truck again... And I went home with all tired on my body *dies*, but I was happy to join English Welcoming Days. Cheer up!!

*END*

Notes: I'm sorry, I'm not in the mood of writing.. Phew... I'm too hungry to write more about my EWD (>o<)

Task 1

My name is Rosa Wuri Amurti. My college friends call me Rosa, but friends on my Japan community call me Sasa. I was born in Sleman, on September 5th 1990. Now, I live with my parents and my grandmother in a small village of a district on West Sleman.

Talking about my personality, at the first meeting, people usually know me as a quiet and introvert girl. But, actually I’m 180 degrees different from what people think. I’m talkative and extrovert. Phew, I can’t describe myself anymore, just be my friend and you’ll know me.

Mmm… About my interest, I’m very interested on Japanese music, especially Japanese rock. I think Japanese rock’s music is different from other music. The music is very easy listening for me *this is personal opinion, but I think you must be don’t think so XD*. The bands which always fill my winamp play list are Ayabie, the GazettE, Dir en grey, SID, Antique café, etc. They have different kinds of music and style, like Ayabie and Antique café with Oshare kei, the GazettE and Dir en grey with Visual kei. God, they’re awesome!! I love them a lot! It makes me want to be a Japanese rock star! But, that’s impossible -–a

No! There isn’t impossible thing if you keep trying *Mr. Chosa, my lecturer, said that XD* Now, I have a band covering Ayabie, named Seizoku. Although I’m the vocalist of the band, I don’t know the meaning of Seizoku^^. My band ever performed in some events and the audience liked it. Yeah! Ganbatte, Sei~ *Oops, speak English please*

Another interest is cosplay. Cosplay is a time when you dressed up and acted like anime or manga *Japanese cartoon* character. I ever played Konan’s character from Akatsuki *you must be know this character if you watch or read Naruto* and nowadays I have a project to play Byakuya Kuchiki from Bleach. Not only from anime or manga, I ever played Bou’s character from Antique Café last year from Japanese rock theme and for this year I hope I can play Aoi’s character from Ayabie. I usually do cosplay on Japan festival which held almost every month on the different place in Jogjakarta.

My last interest is writing a fan-fiction; write a story with the members of a band like the GazettE as the actors. I have a lot of fictions, but they’re all in Indonesian language. Now, I’m trying so hard to translate them into English so I can post the fan-fictions on my livejournal >> http://sasachuu.livejournal.com/. You can read them if you want and don’t forget to give a comment! It’s really appreciated^^

Huff, this will not reach the end if I talk about my interest. So, I end up describing myself. If want to know more about me, just be my friend by add this journal^^Babbai \(^3^)/*
