Last Sunday and Monday on September 7th – 8th, I joined English Welcoming Day or EWD, a camping that was held to welcome the new English Language Education students in Wonogondang, Kaliurang.
On the early morning of September the 7th, all of the new English Language Education students and the committees gathered on the hall. After briefing and preparation, we went to Wonogondang at 14.30 by truck. It was fun when riding the truck. It reminded me to my junior high school camping five years ago. But it also made me imagining that I were a Indonesian labor who sent to Merapi to work there XD XD *wth -.-*
At 15.30, we arrived at Wonogondang, but suddenly I felt dizzy. Maybe the low air pressure influenced my low blood pressure and I thought this camping would be the worst camping I ever joined because I was not in a good condition.
Same as what I predicted, my condition was getting worst when the night came. Nevertheless, I forced myself to join the activities in my group, group six, with Hedwig as the group leader, Marrie, Nimas, Tika, Lia, Brian, Frankie, and Purwo as my group mates. But, thanks God, Yosi gave me tolak angin and vitamin c, so I felt better than before.
One by one, I passed the activities until 24.00, did some jingles, yell, and talent show. God, I was very tired and I needed to sleep... But, I only had a little time to sleep because at 1.00 I should join TRACKING!! Jesus, I really wanted to return home at that time TT^TT
Finally, I joined the tracking... At 3.00 in the morning, walked crossing the forest... OMG, I thought it would be scary, but I was wrong. Even it was tiring, I had a lot of fun with my group^^ and we *me and my group* finished the tracking at 6.00. It meant, I hadn't have any time to sleep at all ~_~
But, the funniest activity was OUTBOND on the second day!!! We played some games there!! Like Berlin wall *climbed a high dirty wall*, titanic, fill the pipe, ride an enggrang, etc. We played with too much water, our dressed were soaked, and of course it was cold >.< rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...
In the evening, the English Welcoming Days was over. We returned to the campus by truck again... And I went home with all tired on my body *dies*, but I was happy to join English Welcoming Days. Cheer up!!
*END*
Notes: I'm sorry, I'm not in the mood of writing.. Phew... I'm too hungry to write more about my EWD (>o<)
